ABOUT THE WORK
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: BEGINNER
Frida Pants is the ultimate recipe for those of you who love creating unique clothing with lots of personality – and at the same time using up all the yarn scraps you have lying around.
Frida Pants can be used for relaxing at home, but also look cool outside the home.
The pants are knitted from the top down on needle 6, so you can easily try them on along the way and get a fit that fits right in your closet.
The entire piece is knitted in the round. First, knit the rib along the waistband. Then you can knit reverse rows to make the pants higher at the back - this part can be omitted, the pants also fit nicely without it.
Then divide the piece in 2 and finish the legs separately. Bind off along the calf to shape the leg, which is finished with a rib edge.
The pants will stretch with use, so consider whether you want them to fit snugly or loosely. If you want them to fit snugly, go down a size.
When measuring yourself, the hip measurement is the widest part of your butt.

ABOUT THE WORK
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: BEGINNER
Frida Pants Children are perfect for keeping little legs warm in everyday life!
The recipe is created for children aged 1-5 years.
It is both fun and easy to knit.
With a focus on comfort and durability, the pants are perfect for active toddlers. The wide legs, drawstring at the waist and an extra detail on the knee give the pants character.
Use your yarn scraps and create a unique piece of clothing that children and adults will love.
The trousers are knitted from the top down on 6mm circular needles, preferably 40cm long. Reverse rows are made on the back to make the trousers higher at the back. Then increases are made, also on the back. Then the legs are finished one at a time. On the knee, a “patch” is knitted in purl stitches. The legs are wide and finished with a rib edge that tightens them at the feet.
