The elves are mysterious feminine creatures who dance all night long.

The top is knitted from the top down on needle size 10. First knit the front piece down to the armhole, then knit the back piece down to the armhole. At the hole on the back, divide the work in two and then knit the two sides separately. The hole is finished by joining the two sides on the circular needle. When the front and back pieces are the same length, join the work and knit in the round until the length is as desired.

The sleeves are made by picking up stitches along the armhole and knitting reverse rows with German shortrows (gs) to give it shape over the shoulder.

Pick up stitches along the hole in the back and knit a rib edge on needle size 6.5. Try layering 3-4 strands of the very thin mohair qualities together, to get the right gauge. You can also experiment with other types of yarn, the most important thing is that you get the right gauge.

For the hole in the back I have chosen a single strand of thin mohair. For the collar I have used cotton yarn.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0782/8724/1492/files/1_c77a7ebb-dced-4ce5-9c1d-859830e18f3f.png?v=1781950448
