My name is Freja Hoffgaard and I am the person behind Frejasknit. I am a knitting designer, author and creative educator, with qualifications in social education and yoga teaching.

I have worked professionally with knitting and creative teaching since 2019, with a particular focus on leftover yarn, colour and a more open approach to knitting.

In 2025, Turbine published my book Strikkemagi med Garnrester. Over the past four years, I have held almost 100 workshops and talks around Denmark.

I share my creative work with more than 36,000 followers on Instagram.

My aim is to encourage creative freedom, less perfectionism and a fresh look at the materials we already have.
