ABOUT THE PROJECT
Badass Blouse is kind of wild and perfect for those who want to stand out from the crowd. It has a tight fit and the rib edge gives a neat fit.
The blouse is knitted from the bottom and up in rib (1 k, 1 p).
Cast on with Italian cast on to make a stretchy edge at the bottom of the blouse. Knit in rounds on a circular needle until the armholes. From here you divide the work, so you have a front piece and back piece. When the front piece and back piece are done, you pick up stitches along the armholes to knit the sleeves. Badass Blouse has a slit across the back and on both elbows. The slits are made by binding off stitches and casting on new stitches on the next round.
The neck edge is finished with a crocheted trim.
Positive ease and fit
The measurements are of the finished blouse, it should be knitted with negative ease, so choose a size smaller than your body measurements.
Have fun knitting!
