A beginner-friendly basic blouse with a simple, classic fit.

Easy pattern for a Basic Blouse knitted top-down with turnings and raglan increases.

FIT
Measure yourself at the widest part of your bust and add 15 cm to your measurement. Choose the size that is closest or go up one size for a looser fit.

YOU WILL NEED

SUGGESTED CIRCULAR NEEDLES
5 mm, 40 cm (for body and sleeves) + 60/80 cm (for yoke and body)

GAUGE
16 stitches in stockinette stitch on 5 mm needles (or the needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge) = 10 cm

YARN SUGGESTION
1 strand of yarn from category 4 together with 1 strand from category 1, e.g.:

400 (450) 500 (550) 600 (650) g Peer Gynt from Sandnes, Yardage: Approx. 91 meters per 50 g

together with 50 (50) 75 (100) 125 (150) grams Tynd Silk Mohair from Sandnes, Yardage: Approx. 212 meters per 25 g
