ABOUT THE WORK
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: BEGINNER

Beginner The hat is an easy and fun pattern that you will quickly finish. The pattern is written without abbreviations, with the new knitter in mind. There are video links to all techniques. The hat is knitted from the bottom up in rib. The entire piece is knitted on circular needles 8 mm.
First knit the fold of the hat, then knit the hat itself. Finally, turn the hat inside out and fold the fold up. This is done so that the neat side of the cast-on edge along the fold is outwards.

FIT

Size 1 fits a head measurement of 52-58cm.
Size 2 fits a head measurement of 59-65 cm.

You can easily make the hat bigger or smaller by casting on 4 stitches more or less (4 stitches equals 4 cm.)
You need to adjust by 4 stitches for the rib pattern to fit.

The rib knit makes the hat elastic and therefore the finished size is smaller than your head circumference.
The hat also stretches with use, keep this in mind when choosing a size.

YARN

The hat is knitted from yarn scraps. Think about the length of the yarn, the shorter each piece of yarn is, the more color changes you will have on your hat.
