ABOUT THE PROJECT
DIFFICULTY intermediate/advanced 

The Playful Hoodie is worked from the top and down using circular needles 5 mm | US8. It has a big hoodie and an easy textured pattern consisting of knit and purl stitches and slipped stitches. 

Sizing
It is designed to be worn with a large positive wase of 40 cm | 10 in of positive ease at the bust.
If your bust circumference is 96 + 40 = 136 cm | 37.8 + 15.8 = 53.5 in, meaning you need to follow a size M. If you want a more traditional fit of a sweater, choose an appropriate size with a positive ease of 20 cm.

RECOMMENDED CIRCULAR NEEDLES
4,5 mm and 5 mm, 60 & 80 cm and double-pointed needles 4,5 mm (for the I-cord)
US7 and US8, 24- & 32-inch wires, and double-pointed needles US7 (for the I-cord)
YARN
600 (700) 800 (900) g Nepal by Drops, 65% Peruvian Highland Wool, 35% Superfine Alpaca, 50 g = ca. 75 meter | 82 yds.
+ 100 g scrap yarn or yarn in a contrasting color for the stripes.
GAUGE
17 stitches in stockinette stitch using 5 mm needles (US size 8) [or the needles you need to hit gauge] = 10 cm [approx. 4 in]
