Oversized hoodie with a large, roomy hood, textured stripes and adjustable strings at the wrists.

The hoodie is worked from the top down using 5 mm needles.

It is designed with approximately 40 cm / 15¾ in of positive ease for an oversized fit. If you prefer a more classic fit, choose a size with approximately 20 cm / 7¾ in of positive ease.

MATERIALS

RECOMMENDED NEEDLES
4.5 and 5 mm circular needles in lengths 40 and 60/80 cm, and 4.5 mm double-pointed needles for knitting the cords.

GAUGE
17 stitches in stockinette stitch on 5 mm needles (or the needle size needed to obtain the correct gauge) = 10 cm / 4 in.

YARN REQUIREMENTS
600 (700) 800 (900) g DROPS Nepal, 65% Peruvian Highland wool and 35% superfine alpaca, 50 g = 75 m
+ 100 g of leftover yarn or yarn in a contrasting colour for the stripes.
