ABOUT THE WORK
The Pumpkin Spice Hood is knitted top down with a pattern. First, knit the top of the head, then pick up stitches along the sides and knit the rest of the hat back and forth in pattern. When the hood is the right length, gather the piece and knit in the round, continuing with the pattern. Finally, pick up stitches along the opening in the front, using needle size 8, and finish with a garter stitch.
Finally, knit an icord cord, which is pulled through the drawstring.
