Pumpkin Spice Polo Sweater is a soft sweater with a textured pattern, a polo collar and a relaxed, slightly oversized fit.

The sweater is worked from the top down. The back and front sections are worked flat before being joined to work the body in the round. The sleeves are also worked in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up for the polo collar, which is shaped with short rows and increases. The pattern includes links to videos demonstrating the textured pattern and the techniques used.

The sweater is designed with approximately 10 cm (4 in) of positive ease. Measure around your bust, add 10 cm (4 in) and choose the size with the closest finished bust measurement. Choose one size smaller if you prefer a closer fit.

Yarn and quantities

250 (250) 300 (350) 400 (400) g Lang Yarns Baby Lama, 88% baby llama and 12% polyamide, 50 g = approx. 120 m / 131 yd, held together with 50 (50) 75 (75) 75 (100) g Lang Yarns Lace, 58% kid mohair and 42% silk, 25 g = approx. 310 m / 339 yd.

The brown sweater in the photos is knitted in Baby Lama Choco 1170.0067 held together with Lace Offwhite 992.0094.

Needles and gauge

Suggested circular needles: 9 mm, 60/80 cm (24/32 in), for the body, sleeves and collar, and 7 mm, 40/60 cm (16/24 in), for the ribbing on the body and sleeves.

Gauge: 12 stitches in the textured pattern on 9 mm needles = 10 cm / 4 in. Adjust your needle size as needed to obtain gauge.
