ABOUT THE PROJECT
Rosemary Skirt
is knitted top down using short rows to make the skirt higher in the back. The skirt has a folded edge in which is where the elastic will be pulled through. The bottom hem is finished off in a pattern made up of knit and purl stitches.

The Rosemary Skirt and cardigan is named by one of my favorite plants of all time: the rosemary. It is said to hold clarity, strength, and protection. Back in the days, it was used to clean out both homes and minds. I regularly use a stem in my drinking water to enjoy the lovely taste.

SIZING
The finished measurements on the front page are designed to give the garment a positive ease of approx. 10 cm | 4 inches. For instance; If your waist circumference is 80 + 10 = 90 cm | 31.5 + 3.9 = 35.4 inches, you should knit a size L. If you want a snug fit, go down a size.

The skirt is worked in mixed scrap yarn, for instance using Nepal from Drops (65 % Peruvian Higland wool, 35% superfine alpaca, 50 g = ca. 75 m | 1.76 oz = approx. 82 yds.) which is a perfect fit when looking at the gauge. You can easily use other types of yarn as long as you achieve the recommended gauge.
