A light and airy summer top, worked from the top down finished with a decorative wavy ruffle.

First, the front is worked, followed by the back. The work is then joined and worked in the round in stockinette stitch. The top is finished with a decorative wavy ruffle, which can be worked in the same color as the top or highlighted with a contrasting color.

The top is worked using a yarn that is normally recommended for 4 mm (US 6) needles. However, by working it on 6 mm (US 10) needles, the fabric becomes light, airy, and beautifully textured, creating a top that is comfortable to wear – even on the warmest summer days.

The straps are crocheted at the end and can easily be adjusted to your preferred length. The Heatwave Top is reversible and can be worn with either the front or the back facing forwards, giving you two different looks in one top.

SIZING

The blouse is designed to be worn with approx. 10-15 cm | 3.9-5.9 in of positive ease around the bust, creating a light and relaxed fit. The model on the front page is worked with 14 cm of positive ease, why the top creates a relaxed fit without being oversized.

If you want a tighter fit, feel free to choose a smaller size. Please note that the top will have less positive ease and a closer fit. Choose the size that best matches your preferred fit.
