ABOUT THE PROJECT
Perfect sweater makes a dent in your yarn inventory – mix colors and qualities and watch your inventory dwindle while the sweater grows.

Designed with a relaxed, boxy fit and wide sleeves, the sweater is knitted top down in stockinette stitch and is an easy project, even for less experienced knitters.

You start by knitting the upper part of the back piece, then the stitches for the front piece are picked up along the shoulder seam.

The sleeves are shaped by picking up stitches along the armhole, and knitting short rows to give the sleeves extra shape. If you find the short rows challenging, you can choose to skip them. The sleeves are finished with a wide rib edge that can be folded up along a row of purl stitches.

Positive ease and fit
The measurements given are the finished measurements of the sweater, and the model is designed with a positive ease of 10 cm | 4 inches, which gives a loose and relaxed look.

TIP Measure a shirt that you think fits well and choose the size that best matches its measurements.
