ABOUT THE PROJECT
Difficulty level: Medium / Advanced
The Candy Stripe Polo is a fun and creative project that lets you play with color and texture using yarn scraps. The sweater is worked top-down, making it easy to adjust the length and fit as you go.
You’ll begin with the neckline, shaped on circular needles while working raglan increases. The first section is worked back and forth before being joined and continued in the round. The stripes are incorporated as you knit, creating a unique and graphic design. Sleeves are worked in the round, either on circular needles or using the magic loop method.
Finally, you’ll pick up stitches for the button bands and the neckline, which you can finish with either an elegant polo collar or a simple crocheted edge.
This pattern is perfect for using up your yarn scraps in a beautiful and practical way! Throughout the process, you’ll find inspiration and guidance in the accompanying video tutorials.
FIT
The measurements provided are the finished garment measurements. The design includes approx. 10 cm of positive ease for a comfortable, relaxed fit.

Is your yarn stock low - or does it just need a breath of fresh air? Then buy a Stopgarnspil package from Garnspecialisten, which sells deadstock and surplus yarn that would have been burned if they hadn't saved it.
