ABOUT THE WORK
The Cotton Candy Tee has small, delicate sleeves and a rolled edge at the neck. The tee is knitted with a simple structure consisting of knit and purl stitches, which gives it a fresh and playful look.
It is knitted top down on needle size 4 - or the needle you need to reach the knitting tension, in 2 strands 8/4 cotton yarn! The small sleeves are shaped with circular needles. The collar is made by finally picking up stitches along the neckline.
The top is intended to fit snugly. The measurements given are the finished measurements of the piece.
You can choose a size approx. 10 cm below your own bust measurement and get a very tight-fitting version, or you can choose to take the size closest to your own bust measurement/size larger and get a looser-fitting tee. I made mine in size 3 for a tight-fitting version (my bust measurement is 96 cm)
YARN SUGGESTIONS
I have knitted my Cotton Candy Tee in two strands of 8/4 cotton. I have used different shades of pink as the base color. For the stripes I have chosen 2 strands of yarn with great contrast. For example, dark blue and delicate pink, light yellow and dark green or boadoux and turquoise.
