ABOUT THE WORK
The pattern is simple, and focuses on making the knitting process easy and accessible, with instructions and videos for all the necessary techniques. The blouse is knitted top down with circular needles and raglan increases. After the raglan increases, the work is divided into body and sleeves, which are finished separately, and finished with decorative rib edges. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline and the collar is knitted. The blouse in the pictures is knitted with yarn in 2 different colors, to give a mottled effect - the runner is off-white, while the other yarn is delicate pink.
The pattern contains no abbreviations. Everything is written clearly so you don't have to worry about understanding complex knitting terms.
The name Selene comes from Greek mythology, where she is the moon itself – not just the goddess of it, but its living being. She stands for rhythm, for repetition and light in the darkness.
Selene Sweater is not one that shouts – but a simple and beautiful model that you return to again and again because it is both simple, beautiful and soothing to knit.
FIT
The blouse is designed to have approximately 10 cm of movement space. Measure yourself at the widest point of your chest and add 10 cm to your measurement. Choose the size that is closest to your measurements or go down one size for a tighter fit, or up one size for a looser oversized knit.
