ABOUT THE WORK
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: MEDIUM
Solvej's Jacket is a colorful declaration of love for both little adventurers and cozy time at home. It is named after a very special girl, my niece Solvej. It is designed with a playful and nostalgic expression.
The jacket is a combination of knitting and crochet, where soft granny squares in different patterns form the body. The squares are crocheted together, and finally the sleeves and ribbed edges are knitted, which gives the jacket a beautiful finish.
It is wonderful to make from yarn scraps and a nice challenge for the slightly experienced knitter and crocheter.
