About the work
The Badass Blouse is a wild thing and perfect for those who want to stand out from the crowd. It sits tight and the rib makes a neat fit.
The measurements are the measurements of the finished Blouse, It should be knitted with negative ease, so choose a size smaller than your body measurements.
The blouse is knitted from the bottom and up in rib (1 k, 1 p).
Cast on with Italian cast on to make a stretchy edge at the bottom of the blouse. Knit in rounds on the circular needle until the armholes. From here you divide the work for front piece and back piece. When the front piece and back piece are done, you pick up stitches along the armholes to knit the sleeves. The Badass Blouse has a slit across the back and on both elbows. The slits are made by binding off stitches and casting on new stitches on the next round.
The neck edge is finished with a crocheted trim.
The blouse is made with scrap yarn - read more about techniques and yarn choices under "GUIDE TO SCRAP YARN"
