ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Skill Level: Beginner
Transform your beanie into a balaclava in just 2 seconds!
The Beanie Balaclava is super easy, fun, and quick to knit. This pattern is designed with the new knitter in mind - no complicated techniques or abbreviations.
The Beanie Balaclava is worked from the bottom up on circular needles, size 8 mm. If you have 40 cm circular needles (measured from tip to tip), use those; otherwise, you can knit using the magic loop technique.
YARN OPTIONS
I knitted my balaclava using a mix of leftover yarns, combining 2–3 strands at a time. Here are some examples of yarn combinations I used:
- Double Sunday by Sandnes + Angora Deluxe by Mondial
- Nepal + Melody, both by Drops
- 2 strands of Superwash Merino by Sabina Sistoe + Sunday by Drops
- 1 strand Tentação 25 Neon Green/Orange by Rosarios4
- 1 strand Snow by Drops
Enjoy! ♥
