ABOUT THE WORK
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: BEGINNER
From beanie to balaclava in 2 seconds!
Beanie Balaclava Light is super easy, fun and quick to knit. The pattern is written with the new knitter in mind, and therefore includes video guides for all techniques, and uses no difficult techniques or abbreviations.
Beanie Balaclava Light is knitted from the bottom up, on circular needles size 6 mm in rib, knit 1, purl 1. If you have a 40 cm circular needle (measured from tip to tip) then use that, otherwise you can knit with magic loop.
CHOOSING YARN
I knitted my hat in 1 strand of Angora yarn from Mondial + 1 strand of Double Sunday from Sandness, as well as a mix of yarn scraps. I knitted with 2-3 strands at a time.
Note: if you don't like fluff in the eyes, avoid mohair around the eye hole.
