ABOUT THE WORK
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: MEDIUM
The Dopa Vest was created in collaboration between Frejasknit and the Dopaminklubben . The embroidery on the front is based on a drawing by Anders Morgenthaler.
You can choose between the texts “I'll do it tomorrow” and “Do anything for dopamine”.
The vest is unisex and can therefore be used by both women, men and everyone in between.
It is knitted in four parts, a front piece, two side pieces and a back piece. All parts are knitted from the bottom up. The front piece is knitted on needle 5 while the back and side pieces are knitted on needle 7.
The front and back pieces are knitted back and forth in stocking stitch, i.e. knit on the right side, purl on the wrong side.
The side panels are knitted in pearl rib.
The parts are sewn together when they are finished.
The vest is finished with rib edges along the armholes and the opening in the front. The rib is knitted on needle size 5. Cast on more stitches while picking up stitches for the rib.
