ABOUT THE PROJECT
Fluffy Feet are easy, quick and fun to knit. The entire little bootie is knitted back and forth in garter stitch – that is, knit on both the right and wrong sides. First, knit back and forth, from the heel down towards the toe. Then sew the piece together along the heel and toe. You can pull a thin elastic thread along the opening of the bootie to keep it in place better. Fluffy Feet is finished with a fine ribbon, which is pulled through the cast-on edge and tied like a bow at the front of the foot.
CHOOSING SIZE
Choose the size you normally wear in shoes. The finished piece should be a few cm shorter than your foot.
YARN
If you are knitting with leftover yarn and want to switch between different qualities, make sure to make the yarn change along the edge of the work so you don't end up stepping on a lot of knots.
Fluffy Feet in the pictures is knitted from a thread of Peer Gynt from Sandnes Garn together with a boucle-like, unknown yarn remnant. You can achieve a similar look by knitting Peer Gynt together with a thread of Ballarina Chunky Mohair, also from Sandnes Garn.

Is your yarn stock low - or does it just need a breath of fresh air? Then buy a Stopgarnspil package from Garnspecialisten, which sells deadstock and surplus yarn that would have been burned if they hadn't saved it.
