ABOUT THE WORK
The Nebula blouse is knitted in 2 strands of silk mohair (or similar) from the top down with raglan increases, reverse stitches and stripes on the body and sleeves. The body and sleeves are finished with a round of horizontal stitches, after which the rib is knitted. It has a wide boat-shaped neckline.
Movement space: Approx. 10 cm. Measure yourself at the widest point of your chest and add 10 cm to your measurement. Choose the size that is closest or go up one size for a looser fit.
The Nebuala Blouse is a dream journey into outer space.
I often listen to podcasts while I knit – especially those about astrology, science and UFOs. They make my mind wander a little further and broaden my horizons.
“Nebula” means fog, and is the name for the places in space where stars are born and die. I think it's a beautiful image – and it fits perfectly with the light, floating expression of mohair - and of course giving new life to your yarn scraps.
