YOU SHOULD USE THIS

Indicative needles: 10mm 80 & 40cm

450, 500, 550, 600, 650, 700, 750 grams Air from Drops 150m/50g  (knitted with 2 threads)

together with

100, 125, 125, 150, 150, 175 grams Brushed Aplaca Silk from Drops, 140m/25g.

OR

500, 550, 600, 650, 700, 750 grams of yarn scraps

Knitting tension:

8 stitches in stocking stitch on 10mm needle (or the needle you need to reach the knitting tension) = 10cm

Sizes: 1, 2, 3

Finished dimensions approx.:
Width: 125, 130, 145, 150, 165, 170 cm
Length: 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61 cm

ABOUT THE WORK:

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: MEDIUM

Spring Sweater was created in a bitterly cold spring, and was named after the season. 

The sweater is knitted top down on needle size 10. First, cast on for the collar, then work in reverse to make the sweater higher at the neck. Then make raglan increases, and then finish the body and sleeves separately.

Spring sweater has a chunky look and a large range of movement (positive ease) of approximately 40 cm. The sleeves are designed to be ¾ length.
The measurements on the front page indicate the finished dimensions of the work.  

 

TIP: If you want a tighter-fitting sweater, choose a size that is closer to your own body measurements.
