About the work

The mittens are worked in garter stitches; you knit on both the right side and the wrong side.

In the beginning you work 6 cm rib which later are folded up around the mitten. Each mitten is worked in one piece. You do not need double pointed needles. The thumb is worked separately. To finish the mittens you crochet the sides together.

Decreases are worked by knitting 2 stitches together.

Increases are worked by making a YO and on the next row ‘knit into back stitch’ of the new stitch.
