ABOUT THE WORK
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: BEGINNER
The elf girl's top is inspired by an elf girl with a hole in the back. A mysterious feminine creature that dances the night away.
The top is knitted from top to bottom. Knit in the round on needle 10, except for the hole in the back, which is knitted on needle 6.5.
The sleeves are made by picking up stitches along the armhole and knitting double crochets to give it shape. Finally, pick up stitches along the hole in the back and knit a ribbed edge.
Then crochet a scallop border around the neckline.
The top is short with a wide "boxy" and slightly oversize fit.
YARN
I have used a relatively strong mohair for the top in the picture. Give it a try, with the very thin mohair qualities you need to lay 3-4 strands together to achieve the knit strength. You can also experiment with other types of yarn, the most important thing is that you hit the knitting strength (roughly)
For the hole in the back, I have chosen a single strand of thin mohair. For the collar I used cotton yarn.
