ABOUT THE WORK
The Perfect Tee, as I modestly named it, has a boxy fit with wide sleeves. It is designed to be simple to knit, worked from the bottom up using stockinette stitch (st st).
The body is worked in rounds and divided at the armholes, followed by finishing the front and back piece separately. The sleeves sts are picked up along the armhole.
Ribbing on the body and sleeves are worked using 6 mm needles while the ribbing on the neck is worked using 5 mm needles.
The measurements on the front page are the finished measurements. The t-shirt should have a small positive ease of 7-10 cm. Personally, I have a chest circumference of 98 cm and worked a size 3.
TIP: measure the circumference of a t-shirt you like the fit of and match it to the measurements of the according size.
On my webpage, I have created a guide on how to work with scraps – and how to hit the gauge – make sure to read it through if you need a helping hand getting started.
Happy knitting!
